4. Room Amenities

Each room is equipped with a private bathroom and toilet, as well as a nightstand and television. All beds, shower areas, and toilets are equipped with a call system for alerting staff.

BED – Each bed in the room has adjustable height for the entire bed, as well as for the head and foot sections. The bed can be adjusted using the panel at the foot of the bed or the side rails at the head of the patient. First, press the green button in the middle of the display, and then select the direction in which you want to adjust the bed. The bed is connected to the electrical grid, so we ask all patients to handle the adjustments carefully. All beds can be extended in the foot area.

CRUTCH HOLDER – At each bed in the orthopedic ward, a crutch holder is attached at the foot of the bed. Staff or patients can easily place walking sticks or underarm crutches in the holder by pressing them in.

AIR CONDITIONING – Air conditioning units are available upon request. If you need to change the temperature or ventilation, please contact the staff for assistance.

5. Information on Hospitalization Process

FLUIDS AND FOOD AFTER RETURNING FROM THE OPERATING ROOM – Upon returning to the ward, the patient will receive fluids (approximately after 2 hours) and then the first meal (after 2-4 hours) according to the doctor’s orders and the patient’s current health status. Until then, we ask patients not to consume their own drinks and food.

MEALS – Each patient’s meal is based on their diagnosis and health status.

GETTING OUT OF BED – Immediately after the surgical procedure, patients should not attempt to get up on their own; they should call for staff assistance. Attempting to get up independently poses a risk of falling and potential injury. We ask all patients to always call for staff when attempting to get up for the first time, as they will gladly assist you.

ORTHOPEDIC AIDS – After orthopedic surgeries, it is likely that the patient will need to use some orthopedic aids, such as crutches or various braces. These aids can only be reimbursed by public health insurance for a limited period. Therefore, we kindly ask for your cooperation with the staff and to report any prescriptions for orthopedic aids issued in the past two years. If you have an orthopedic aid at home that you will need now, please bring it with you.

MEDICATIONS – Please bring all the medications you are currently taking with you, as administration can only occur with a doctor’s consent. If you experience pain or any issues, please call for staff assistance; analgesics will be provided after approval from the doctor.

SICK LEAVE (PN) – If you already have a sick leave certificate or need one issued, please inform the nurse immediately upon admission. An electronic sick leave certificate will be issued to you.

Quiet, Silence, and Undisturbed Sleep are essential components of healing; therefore, we strive to ensure a restful environment for our clients, especially from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM. We ensure peace and quiet for patients in a postoperative state. Please respect the tranquility of other patients and switch your phone to silent mode. Additionally, please be considerate of the volume when watching TV or talking on the phone.
